Line-by-Line Review, IRS Updates & Compliance Essentials

Form 941 is a critical payroll tax document that all employers must file to report income taxes, Social Security, and Medicare withheld from employees’ wages. However, recent revisions—particularly in light of pandemic-era changes and the sunset of COVID-19 credits—have made accurate completion more complex than ever.

This session provides a practical, line-by-line walkthrough of Form 941, helping payroll and HR professionals avoid common errors, ensure proper reporting, and understand the role of Schedule B in preventing costly penalties. Attendees will also explore the current treatment of Employer Retention Credits (ERC), changes related to Form 7200, and considerations surrounding the expiration of the Social Security tax deferral.
